A: Tech Tr1be Academy is the newest addition to Tech Tr1be. It was formerly known as "Pre-FRC" which had the goal of training anyone in anything they want to do. This might be programming, marketing, design, etc.
With Tech Tr1be Academy, we hope to help educate those who are looking to program for not just our team, but for any team for that matter.

A: Anyone can use Tech Tr1be Academy! You don't even have to be on our team! You can be a community member, a person from another team, state, country, etc!

A: Tech Tr1be Academy takes the lessons learned from our journey, as well as those from other teams, formal education & training, and much more, so we can compile all of the information we have and give it to you in a comprehensive format.

A: Traditional online classes have a hard due date and end after x number of weeks. With Tech Tr1be Academy, as long as you are making some kind of progress, you can take however long you'd like with your online class! We make it possible for you to enjoy your everyday life all while making it convenient for you to take your classes.
Also, unlike other online providers, we reward and recognize those who excel in our courses through a couple of programs. "Academy Stars" and an XP System (See question below).

A: To become a member of "Academy Stars", you must complete a full course and have at least an 80% on it. You can get a maximum of 3 stars per course. Your first star is awarded at 80%, your second star at 90%, and third star at 100%. Once you earn your first star, you'll get an email from us asking you to fill out additional information to feature you as an official "Academy Star". Submit that form and you'll be featured on Academy Stars! As for the XP System, accrue XP for completing lessons, scoring well on quizzes, and completing courses. Unlike "Academy Stars", there isn't a cap on how much XP you can get or how many times you can level up. Every member is granted access to the XP Rewards program. Included in this is the XP Guide (Shows you information about levels and how much you get for each task). You will also have an XP log on your profile to see what you've earned.

A: Those interested may browse our catalog of classes and using the class code provided, enroll in our online classes. From there, you'll receive an email with your personalized link which contains your course and grade book. From there, it's all you!
